I'm playing minecraft again after a while (^_^)
I think I've found a formula to solve most of the issues that kept me endlessly quitting and redoing worlds ad nauseum and frustrating me, which is having a minimap mod and playing with keepinventory on.
I still haven't quite found a solution for the part where I just stay in one place slowly gathering materials before I can go out and build things the way I want them, though, I don't like having to build an automatic farm for anything.
Things I like most about the recent updates:

Things I like most about the recent updates:
- Bundles! Absolute lifesavers! Easy to obtain, feels balanced to use, you can color code it, and it helps massively with inventory management.
- The new biomes and wood types... I don't think I'll ever complain about more variety.
- The new mob variants :) they're really cute.
- Not live yet but I'm looking forward for the upcoming drop. I love you happy ghast

Date: 2025-04-29 01:25 am (UTC)There's a lot of new features and it's definitely one of those games you need to play with a wiki tab open in the background (though it's not impossible to go in blind, especially nowadays that the crafting recipe book is a thing), but I personally enjoy learning about it. I just suffer from major skill issue when it comes to combat and I have a poor sense of direction, which is a recipe for disaster when gathering resources >_<
And yes!! They've added a ton of cute critters, it's very charming
